Jauckie Viljoen

Jauckie is a native Namibian who moved to the Garden Route area of South Africa many decades ago, enchanted by its laid back lifestyle and wild beauty.

Seasoned travellers acknowledge that the success of a tour depends on the knowledge, charm and reliabilty of the guide and, as Managing Director of BRS, Jauckie brings all three in abundance. You are his warmly welcomed guest.

Jauckie has such an investment in the area that several years ago he initiated the 'Meet the People' tour with the goal of taking travellers to meet the 'real' people of the region. This has blossomed into the 'Meet the People Cares' non-profit-making project which empowers local people by providing opportunities for development, and promotion and sales of their products.
